RedRover Relief: Urgent Care grants
- What it helps with
- Life-threatening injury or illness where a small gap in funding is keeping the animal from care.
- Amounts
- Average grant about $250; typical $250-300. Cannot help if the funds needed to begin or continue treatment are $500 or more.
- Who qualifies (as stated)
- Household income at or under $60,000 per year; applicant and animal both live in the US; one animal; treatment must have a good or favorable outcome.
- What it will not cover or rules that can rule you out
- Ongoing conditions (for example chemotherapy, special diets, Cushing's); testing or diagnostics (X-rays, MRI, blood work); routine care; follow-up visits; animals that already received most or all of their treatment; households that already received an Urgent Care grant.
- How to apply
- Pre-application questions first; the full application link appears only if eligible. Application window runs Monday 9 a.m. to Friday 4 p.m. Pacific Time each week. Replies take 1-2 business days.
- Note
- May ask you to get estimates from lower-cost clinics; staying at an ER vet for care a general practice can safely provide may reduce eligibility.
